Our morning started out at Yuma Landing for breakfast. Larry, Audrey, JJ, Char, Wayne Manning Wayne and myself. Fun time at breakfast talking about when we were young and growing up, ringer washers, early TV shows. It was very entertaining remembering back so many years. After breakfast it was time for the A team to hit the desert, I found all kinds of things there today....besides caches. So nice and green in Pacacho and some of the catus in bloom. The fish hook cactus are plentifully and bright red now. The Occotillo cactus is one of my favorite, found a bloom on the desert floor now you can see what just one flower looks like. The "teddy bear" cactus look like it is glowing in the sunlight.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from today, see if you can find the turtle on the side of the hill.... Not sure what all the towers are but they were quite a few and very few looked the same. They are very big towers. Due to all the different minerals the rocks are very colorful.
Some pictures at a few of the caches we found today. You never know who your going to see when your caching, here are 4 cars of cachers they stopped to visit, and let us know there was going to be some new caches published shortly. As Sally said "Your 3 days to early". Just might have to come back to this area again before we leave for home. Stopped at the Q on the way home for our "fix". Wayne won what I lost....oh well glad he got it instead of the casino.
Have walked over a mile a day for the last 10 days, since we went caching today I did not get my walk in. Well I really did but not all at once, and it was up hill over rocks must admit a nice workout, and did not get tired like I normally do. Hummmm could walking every day have something to do with that?
Tomorrow will go back to my morning walks......I am just so proud of me.... B
